A Successful A&S Day in Old Stonebridges!

Thanks everyone! What a great day! We were able to get the bulk of the work done on 48 consorts favors!!! Block printing and cricut cut velvet (heat transfer vinyl). We also had a round table discussion/Q&A about pennsic prep, extra stuff give away, and a pot luck!

Richard booked the room, made a great poster to have outside our room, and kept us organized. After I measured and cut the blanks, Craig really got the hang of the block printing, and Marc used his cricut expertise for using a heat press. Amelia fed everyone her delicious quiches, Elisa and Matt were wonderful Pennsic planning resources, and we all worked really great together! The favors are going to be amazing!!! I can package them up with a card from the group and turn them in next weekend after finishing.

I think today worked out really well, and look forward to more Sunday afternoons at the library! The space is great, easy to reserve, and free! We also had one of our new online contacts come to meet us, they stayed for a while, and seemed to fit in well!

Thoughts? Opinions? Of those who came, what did you like/didn’t like?

Looking forward to this fall increasing our A&S activities, and would like to know what people would be interested in learning, or what you would like to teach!

I think something else that was mentioned was another Growler and Gill social night! So we should talk about that and figure out a good night.

Here’s some pictures! I’ll update once the favors are sewn and finished.
